Why can't hollywood produce these films? - My Big Fat Greek Wedding Reviews

This is the kind of simple, fun, lighthearted entertainment that Hollywood used to produce. What happened? This is a beautiful little film that any second or third generation immigrant can appreciate. The actors fit in their roles like hands in a glove. It is too bad the TV version didn't have the charm of the film.
